A FILM BY MATT ENOS
'Last Days In Waldo County" is an independent thriller/comedy/drama that was a near three year long odyssey in guerrilla filmmaking and raw excess. The film is a narrative structured 'pseudo-documentary' that deals with themes including addiction, spite, violence, satire, suicide, absurdity, mental illness, poverty and revenge to name a few.
LDIWC is more than anything a film about real people in a real place, dealing with real life issues. The film relies heavily on an improvisational/retro-scripted narrative using non-actors in both real and faked situations. The film was directly inspired by real-life tragedy and real-life humor.
LDIWC is dedicated to the memory of
Jared Enos (1986-2009)
Brian Maresh (1987-2011)
Matt Cynewski (1990-2011)
